Evening all you lovelies. How are we all?
Huge massive thanks to the testers and the glitcherati for the easter egg deal. Gosh, how do you work it out? Well done and keep it up!
May I just ask if everyone has had their Viking orders? My gift cards have still NOT turned up and they were supposed to have come yesterday. Also, still no sign of the points. Anyone else in this predicament? I'm tempted to just phone up tomorrow and cancel my order. Anyone.......?
My gc due yesterday and all that arrived was welcome pack hth xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -

I think its pathetic the reasons some people have been booted out! It makes no sense to fetch arguments over here though.. so that is all...

What's up with Savvy?Savvybuyer wrote: »Hi and good evening.
To explain my somewhat long absence, sadly, due to issues out of my control, I have lost my internet access and been unable to post anything on here.
I didn't expect to be here tonight, and I am only here now for a few minutes for this post, from another connection, and then down again probably for the best part (or rather worst!!) of two weeks:mad::mad::mad:.
At least, however, it now allows me to give you some advance notice. I will be doing a Morries collection tomorrow - but it'll just be for myself and the results won't be on here - indeed, at the moment, comparison vs M's are the only comparisons I can do due to my lack of internet and lack of MSM.co.uk and everything else!! (Thank goodness M are not online yet. No, not really:mad::mad: - it's a small 'nightmare' them not being online - once I'm back up and running, I wish they were there, but I'm hoping my money-saving will be taken to a new level and I probably be able to devote more time to it (although perhaps not as late at night as much)!!:rotfl::rotfl:)
However, I can tell you I did get a sneaky peak at the M offers last night (as a result of trying to find verification of the price of one item that seemed too good to be true and may be M-store specific - see below).
It seems virtually all the offers due to end on 10/3 (according to my list from last week) are still on. Indeed, there doesn't seem much major change in M prices this week (judging by last night), although I obviously haven't checked the detail. You can rollover my list from last week and shouldn't be too far out using the list again for another week. The Tampax Pearl Regular is OFF - it's price has increased (but I think I had this as until 3/3 in any event). Also, don't try the Boneless Pork Shoulder (Tvs M) - as it is not £2.50/kg in M anymore!! I wouldn't try the alcohol as I don't know what's happened (or not) in that section at M this week.
The item I went to look for (but couldn't find in a further two M's) is the Savlon Blister Plasters 5 pack. In my original store, this was 68p:j:j:j:j. It was to have appeared on my list when I updated on 2/3 - unfortunately the plug was pulled before I could do so! They're usually £3 (and usually more - I think the £3 is the usual offer price.) I don't know whether this works - or glitches - Avs M APG - but I suspect it would return N/A as it seems it may be an RTC item only in one specific M store last week - and probably no longer there.
I can see you're all having fun with the Easter eggs at the mo. and I am tempted to write down the details of the eggs, two of which can go with the 5 Crunchie or whatever it is - I know what it looks like but not what it's called (not whilst writing this anyhow). (Too long post Savvy again:rotfl::rotfl::T) So the M comps may not be too much in the prominence at this time.
Certainly don't worry - as I will do just a top-up shop this weekend to see me through the week after - Avs M for that will be fine as it covers all I need to get!!:j
I know: not able to collect Nectar adpoints or anything:mad::mad:. Not to worry, the points will start again when I can get back on. I'll be back probably the week after next - unfortunately it may not even be until 17th or even later, so by time I can get back on here, may be next week without an M comp. list - or very late in the day on the Sunday it expires.
If anyone does have any queries/problems that arise from any vs M comp. in the rest of this week or next, you can PM me to pick up whenever I get back on, as I will still be recording the prices in the next couple of weeks, just not able to get online and post them unfortunately! So in advance about the lack of a list w/c 12/3 - or if there is one, possibly v. late in the day on the Sat late or the Sunday of its expiry. As for this week, it should be okay to continue using the list on page 63 (65?), except for items marked "until 3/3", as it shouldn't be too far out. I can confirm the 4pk Kiwi Fruit at 50p yesterday in M (I can't guarantee that'll be the same tomorrow, but it probably will be).
In any event the vs T comparison seems to be the one everyone's doing at the mo. I notice the bombay potatoes and S&G's still working, weeks on!! (There may be more hope therefore.) I'm sure the attention is switched to Easter eggs at the moment so, over the next couple of weeks at least, enjoy your egg collection/consumption. And see you as soon as I can - mid-month!!;):) (Borrowed time internet connection now!) See you!!

Thanks ARTHA and CJJ for your replies. Hopefully all our orders and points will be with us soon.
The Hot Wheels egg is going to double up as a present for dear nephew. His birthday on Sunday. I got him truck loads of little cars and these will just be added to the collection.0 -

Tesco does, McDonald's - I have sat in McDonald's all round the world so HC can have his Internet fix. Quite a few shopping centres I have been in also have it.
