I know, Flo flo and I know that teachers are busy :) and I am certainly not expecting them to pick up after the kids, my dd put this on her peg as expected rather than the floor like the rest of them. (well that is what she tells me) and it has 3 labels in it! My real beef really is with the parents that turn a blind eye when their kids come home in a brand new cardigan that clearly is not theirs. Funny that all the time she had one with a hole in last year it never ever went missing! :) Think that is what I will do with the next one.

Most important thing wrote is that this is what she tells you. We bin soooo much uniform its unbelievable, it gets chucked around everywhere. Not the teachers' responsibility I'm afraid. A parent sent a note in to ask me to look for her daughter's uniform including the phrase 'even though you are busy'. Yep I am, I also have a daughter who loses things still in high school, so aswell as 30 kids all day in school, break duty, before school duty, marking, planning, I have my own family to pick up behind. Will I give up my time after school or during my lunch break to look for other people's children's stuff, not a chance but I tell the parents to feel free to come and look for it in their time.

I made my DD buy a replacement coat out of her money when she lost her new one at high school - she is a real pain always has been.

Yes you have, well done emerald21. Now moving on to your advanced test, if it is not too much trouble, please can you also include a brief title so that we all know what you are linking to so that it saves us lazy bones an extra click finding out for ourselves as it shortens the self-explanatory link ... :p.

    Many thanks
