The box of virgin wines mystery was solved today. I received a voicemail on my phone to tell me I'd won and the wine and it will be with me within 14 days

I filled in a join our mailing list/ Win £500? shopping voucher thing at the checkout in Coast when I was in Manchester the other week. Id already forgotten about it and hadn't realised there was runner- up prizes :D:)

So the wine is now in the big rack, and Im free to drink it :j.....would rather have had the £500 voucher tho:cool:

    Well done, enjoy your wine:T

    Very foggy in Durham.

Just thinking and please don't take this the wrong way.....

I think we maybe shouldn't talk too much about facebook.

Lets get on with what we do best:)

    Morning guys.
Round 2 at the vets today, my big coward's turn. I have warned the vet about how sensitive she is to pain and will be taking loads of treats to keep her distracted. She's never had a good experience in the vets so I changed her vet in the hope that a different environment will help her.
I was advised yesterday that the boxer is slightly under weight as the vet could feel his ribs so I'm sure she'll say the lurcher is too but no matter how much I feed her she doesn't put on weight. Both dogs get fed twice a day, they go through 15kg and 14 tins of food a fortnight and at one point I thought I might have been over feeding them because I was also giving them leftovers too.
I did change their dry food twice because I thought they were hyper on the Iams and that the pedigree wasn't filling them (only had both due to DTD and APG glitch). I now have them on Toscos own premium mixed with their value one and they seem a lot calmer, only acting up from time to time instead of all day :).
I've been told to feed them raw tripe and add rice to their diet to bulk them up but don't fancy handling the tripe, can't stand the feel of raw meat
All the vets we have seen reckon you should be able to run your fingers down there ribcage and be able to make out individual ribs not pronounced but feel them

That's the way he is but she still feels he needs a bit more weight on, he's 27kgs, I can feel his ribs but it isn't noticeable just by sight.

  • Morning dudes and dudettes,

I'm off on the school run in 3 minutes, but I've checked msm and A's, there are 37 eggs in the 3 for £10 om msm and 38 on A's. If I've understood corecctly (which I probably haven't) if we find the one missing from msm, that could be a trigger?

Oops, one minute till I need to leave the house and I haven't got my shoes on!
