Morning all
Off to do a 'normal' shop today
We've run down the freezer and now there's nothing left and the cupboards are looking pretty bare apart from cereal, but apparently OH doesn't appreciate cereal for his dinner :rotfl:
Here's hoping the Easter Eggs come good for us in A's as well :j...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Evening guys
Congratulations to Bailey for her fantastic win :j :j
Hope Snap-Ant and Vanilla Twist enjoyed their birthdays
I haven't done any clearing the bedroom today. I didn't get to sleep until 6 am and didn't get up till 3 pmTook the dogs out and a scrapman lorry was in the next street, ringing his bell. I told him that there was an old broken hydraulic jack out the front of the house and that I had some other bits for him round back, so he took the jack and sorted through the stuff in the garden for anything metal, getting that out of the way
He also quoted me £60 to clear the rest of the stuff and there's lots there I can assure you, old garden chairs, pots, trays, rotting fence posts/panels, big rotting trunk, old wooden stair/dog gate, etc etc etc, so he is coming sometime tomorrow to clear that out for me. I have cleared the hallway tonight so he has a 'clear run' from back door to front door. Glad I have vinyl down and not carpet as it will be messy, with the stuff having been out there for so long
It would have cost me more to hire a skip and would have meant friends coming to do it for me, so it will be well worth the £60 to get the last of the rubbish out of the garden, it will make such a difference :j :j :j :j
Hope he's registered for peoper disposal of your rubbish and isn't just going to dump it somewhere in a wood/lay by:("Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

It is the Roses one
In the offer but can't see it on msm my end.
This one and any two of the ones on msm that show T price as £2 (but not till they update ....)
Doesn't show for me either...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Good morning
T PP results in from breakfast shop. Optivita and free range medium eggs in our favour, Butcher's choice Cumberland sausage and Onken Natural, dried apricots and sliced mushrooms N/A.
I bought 4 deals (2 of each) and got £4 odd back, so not brilliant but better than nothing. Also shows it is working as we want it to, just prices are not favourable (Butcher's should compare against £2.89/£2.30).
Reports were that Walls 8 thick should give a better return.
Anon
To be fair it is a cracking deal before any PP, I was hoping that the Cumberland compared but they didn't for me either:)"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

"Easter egg offer 3 for £10 at A, there are a few eggs on the shelves in my store that do not appear for me on A.com or MSM
Hot Wheels 75g
Marvel Heroes 50g and Puzzle
Hello Kitty Carry tin/suitcase 90g
Disney Princess 55g
Family Guy 75g
Tango & mug 120g
Cadbury Roses 307g
Rowntree Randoms
These are the ones I saw but there may be others......
I think some of these are in the Morries 2 for £7 offer but I can't see the full range online - need to pop in store later.
TBH, these are all on the shelf at £5 each and 3 for £10 at A, and they aren't worth even anything like the 3 for £10, but may be worthwhile if they glitch like the xmas chocs did. But it needs a really good offer elsewhere and there don't seem to be any yet. The only egg of any substance in that list is the Cadbury Roses one - now just need to wait till there is a good offer elsewhere and hope it does not get added on A.com"
Most of these have since been added on msm, but not the Roses and the Hot Wheels.
Have been keeping an eye on the Roses one :rotfl::rotfl:
BUT, as the Roses one is not on msm it is likely to act as a "trigger" but not appear on the APG, which is confirmed by your womble Patty. Need to bear that in mind tomorrow when making sure there are 8 items or more.

Tesco have had a lot of eggs go on offer today, might be worth having a look to see if they would be good to match against.0 -

I had a go on the bingo last night, omg it's so bleeding dull. Don't think I'll bother with that one again. :rotfl:
I thought the same about the bingo so left DS watching it, OMG how excited he gets when he only needed one number! He was bouncing when he got £22 and took him a while to fall asleep last night, he's already making plans for 'his' winnings :rotfl: I've told him he can have the £12 but I'm getting my initial £10 back, I think that's a good deal for him.
I couldn't do it often, I'd be bored to tears but I can see how it would get people addicted. I always set myself limits, I know the odds of getting even the initial money back. Last night DS managed to play through £30 including the bonus money so a loss of £8 if it was all my own money, I don't think so! it'll be closed down when and if I get my cashback.
I had to explain this to DS last night, his dad used to repair and test gaming machines so I know full well how easy it is for people to get addicted and how much money people lose and how much the company wins. I used to help in the collections and the lowest week was £16000, the average was £30000!!! There was quite a bit of money going through those machines each week and sad to watch some of the people fritter away their money when their kids were either sitting in buggies or playing at their parents feet for hours on end because they didn't want to leave the machine incase someone else got their winnings. The worst bit was that they didn't even realise they would always be the loser. One woman loved coming in after a collection because she thought that it was a luckier day but I can say that it never mattered, you're as likely to win on that day as any other one.
Thankfully doing this sort of job really put me off those machines, I'll stick to the 2p nudgers just for a bit of a laugh, I only ever lose a pound or two so not a big deal. If I wanted to try out a machine we were allowed to so long as we reset it after we'd finished but this was purely so some of the staff could then tell punters how easy or difficult the game was, we were never allowed to take the winnings as we were playing with the money from the machine in the first place so no loss for us.

Hi I just thought I'd share my find lol. The basics ( or whatever the term in Morissons s is lol ) black currant juice is really nice i think. It's not to thick and sweet like Ribena etc and makes quite a refreshing warm drink and ....... It's only 28p. I discovered it by accident recently.
I couldn't drink a cup of tea for the world myself but hubby does and someone told me about the Sainsburys s value or whatever tea bags so i bought some and are good and strong according to him and a bargain at 39p a box.
As 3 s my lucky number.the last one I recommend is the Tesco value cornflakes at 31p for a 500g box. I know a lot of the cheaper cereals taste inferior but in my opinion they taste just the same as Kellogs.
Have you noticed how all these cheaper items are at foot level so people miss them and just pick up the dear items at eye level. Hth s:)0
