Morning all
Feeling better after a decent sleep and coming downstairs to a shiny kitchen
Sorry for the venting yesterday, it does help thoughThink I've been trying to 'get on with it' for too long and it finally caught up with me. MIL due again later this morning to ease the pressure. Have got to stop being proud and accept all help I can
Know like izzy said, that meds can affect mood so maybe that's a factor too.
In honour of St David's Day i'll send cwtches out to all that need them
Off to grab a quick cuppa now the baby gone back to bed
Glad to hear things are a bit better this morningOn the cleaning front - in future if you are tired but still worried about bugs etc, is it worth getting one of the anti bacterial sprays and just squirting a bit around? Minimal effort and plenty of germs killed.
Not sure how effective the sprays are, just thought it might be worth a go. (of course, getting the OH to do it is a much better option)
One of my BS orders has just arrived complete, the one with the gift sets got cancelled so there is just one outstanding. Wonder what will turn up0 -
The daffs I bought earlier in the week flowered today, so they must know its St David's Day.
Also my not-so-little one's birthday. He is away at uni, so this is his first birthday that I won't see him. He said not to phone him before 2pm, so I guess the celebrations were last night.
I did the free blurb photo book offer yesterday and it has tracked through quidco alreadybut more importantly I made it as a memory book filled with photos of Dad, who died last Summer. This was the first time I have been able to look at old photos of him, so I really feel I am moving forward.
Ah glad you've been able to do the photo book
After my Dad died I got lots of photos from my Grandma and made 3 big collages of photos entitled 'The Life of Brian' which we had displayed at his wake. I'd got photos of him at school, scouts, work, Wedding photos, right up to the only one we got of him with DS1 who was 8 weeks old when he died. They made a brilliant talking point and got everyone reminiscing about happy times with Dad. A little while later I scanned the photos and made a photo book of them all for Mum who keeps it in her memory boxIt made her cry but she really appreciated it as she is not computer savvy at all

Talking of Nectar, a reminder that the American Express Nectar Card comes with £30 TCB Cashback and 10,000 bonus points (£1000 spend in first 3 months). No annual fee.
Amex have a lot of good offers with the Foursquare app - currently £15 back on £50 spend on petrol in Shell garage (Christmas offer included £25 back on £25 spend in Harvey Nicholls, £10 back on £10 in Gap etc).
You can also get an additional card for a partner etc on your account .. Did I mention Foursquare offers are one per registered card .... Did I also mention issuing the card is based on household income not individual which may help some to qualify (I have one, Mrs Anon has one ... both of us have also trustingly given each other an additional card on our accounts
).
Any ideas on how to hit £1000 spend in 3 months but be able to cash out - gift cards in Bs turned into Paypal credit?

What is the healthiest glitch that people have experienced (food/drink related not cleaning products!).
Crisps, Christmas chocolates, fizzy drinks, chocolate biscuits, sugar-laden cereals and Mullers all supported with Flumps and chocolate mice are all great in moderation but not helping the healthier lifestyle
Meat on DTD may be up there but anything else to have looked out for?
Many thanks
Anon
Porridge/Muesli during the the APG glitch last year!:D
also about 18months ago there was a glitch on whitworth dried fruit, bogof and 3 for 2 making them just pennies...;)
I didn't buy any of the fabby fingers/cadburys choc glitch before xmas and won't be partaking in the crisps glitch!!:p

Easiest way is to use the card for all spending and make sure you pay the balance off in full each month. Correct, just had another look and the crisp @ N/A v M's but showing 2 x Walkers Classic Variety (12x25g) £7.00 £5.00 v W although I actually bought 2 x 14 meat & 2 x 14 classic & 2 x 14 quaverShortfatscotsbloke wrote: »
So, from what I have seen this morning, it looks like the best thing to do in future is definitely at least check your apg as near as possible to the 3 hour mark. I don't think you necessarily need to print it then, just go through the motions as if you were.;);)
Agree with this, also notes that the end of month resets new apgs for next month so make sure to get you 10 or £100 worth :rotfl:
Mine went throught @ 11.59
Morning everyone, happy st sheep sh@ggers day .Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Can be quite amusing though. Last week one womble simply had
Durex Extra Safe
