Hello,
Hope everyone is ok. :-)
Been to Tesco tonight..... When I had CC statements they had some extra points coupons when you spent £5. They were date banded and the first lot used fine. The 2nd lot could be used after 25th Feb, used these and a message came on the till they had been cancelled and to contact CS.
Anyone else had this problem??
Cheers, Nikki
Yes, I did yesterday. There is a telephone number to call on my receipt. Must do that tomorrow. I felt really bad when the SA said it had been cancelled, like it was some stolen one or something!!!!
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0 -
Evening all, thought I..well I feel I can share this with you. I havent mentioned it before, because I am a bloke, and really dont know how to be sensitive to these things, and really didnt want to upset anyone on this thread, I really dont. I went to a funeral of a good friend today, he knew his time was up, so he planned it hinself. Bess, it was the best seeing-off I have been too. He was worried no one would turn up, it was standing room only. He had booked (sorted out) a lad to sing in the pub, he was class. All I can say was well done mate, job was a good'un!!! We all had a good day!. R.I.P.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Just read this comment regarding spending your nectar card on fuel.
I used my nectar card yesterday at my local sainsburys petrol station, however there's a few things that I need to point out :
You need to have used your nectar card at your local sainsburys within the last 3 months to be able to spend them. (I got told this by customer services)
Also you can only spend in £2.50 increments, so say you fill up with £16 of petrol you need to pay £1 cash or card as they cannot take just £16 off you nectar card.
I didn't know this as I'm used to using my card at Homebase where you can redeem any value of points there as long as it's over £10 in total.
Hope this helps people who is thinking of doing the same0 -

Aww sorry for your loss lovey:A.....it's somehow very comforting when you can celebrate someone's life rather than mourning it( plenty of time for that later) sounds like he had a great send off xxx0 -

I know exactly how that feels. My step-dad's funeral was the best sending off I'd ever been to and everyone except an old maiden aunt said the same too. She couldn't understand how people could be laughing in the pews but all that mattered was that my step-dad would have fully approved of laughter at his funeral. Many a mickle makes a muckle.0
