I can't find the post with details of the viking offer. Did a search on HUKD, but nothing came up. Would someone be kind enough to explain the deal? TIA :)

You can buy a £30 giftcard which can be used in many stores and get £25 worth of nectar points for it.

I'm still not sure I want to take this offer as I'm unconvinced about the £25 nectar points. Don't really visit Sainsburys.

My nectar points were added this morning and I'd only ordered from Viking yesterday - plus I got £2.18 TCB. I bought teabags though instead of gift cards but it works out at £2.82 for the 1500 teabags I bought which isn't bad at all. I'm keeping my nectar points for nearer Christmas.

I had a problem with the viking link opening up a new tab from TCB but just typed in vikingwelcome.co.uk into the address bar and it still tracked okay.

    This is what I did:

    Go to vikingwelcome.co.uk
    Enter Q code
On next screen register and add nectar card details
    Add gift card to basket
Add 5000 nectar points to basket
    Checkout and pay
    Go to nectar account
Check points and note they haven't been added yet
    Quickly clean bathroom floor
    Check nectar balance
    Catch up with MSE
Go and collect small child from Granny's house
    Check nectar balance
    Catch up on MSE
    Check nectar balance...and so on

You might want to omit the bathroom cleaning and the picking up of the small child ;)

Others have actually got the points successfully, I think PixiePieface has done it twice? So probably better to get their advice in case I've made a schoolgirl error somewhere.

If my points go on I'll obviously update on here.

    HTH.
I've placed an order like yours. As you say you don't lose anything if the points don't get added. I tried to do it through TCB but couldn't get to the welcome page to input the code. AS a few are reporting going through TCB I wonder if I've made an error somewhere. We'll see:)

Im wondering if there is a way to find out if a certain asda may have the bombay potatoes.
If you go to mysupermarket and you have an asda account stored on there. Go to that asda account and change the adress to something near a different asda and it should tell u if the bombay potatoes (or whatever you are looking for) is there.
e.g. if I look at mysupermarket at the moment, it tells me there is no bombay potatoes at my local Asda.
Havent tried this yet. Just wondered if anyone had lol .
Hi, Yes this worked for me. It is how I found Sally H when it was glitching a while back but my local A didn't stock it. Found it everywhere else I tried!
I am not young enough to know everything.

Pixie, did you do it twice using the same Nectar card?
Edit: just seen your earlier reply Pixie.

I was asking because I have already made 2 orders (2 different Viking accounts, and 2 diff Nectar cards), but this evening I made another order order using the same Nectar card as my 1st order (if that makes sense lol).

This time I've gone for the gift cards.

Well pleased already as I now have £50 of points, hopefully £75 with this order!!

Ok what's this email adress for quidco please. Just got my first receipt back from them. Declined saying items ineligible. It;s 2 1litre pack of tropicano

Think I will be another one giving up on quidco snapping

    TIA

It is a specific type of tropicana I think. I saw 2 x 2 litre Tropicana on one of my wombles but then realised it was the wrong sort so didn't submit it

Hmm, should I do another viking order as I think DW has a nectar card somewhere? No brainer really as long as she can find it:)
