I find that after rice is frozen (after making biriani or chilli) then it is mushy when reheated.
Any tips out there for stopping this ?

I use easy cook long grai for freezing. The trick is to rinse it before cooking till the starch is out of the rice and the water is clear, using a sieve. Then 1 part rice 2 parts water, I add a stock cube as well. Cook til water gone then back in sieve and under cold water. (To stop bugs) Wen you add to tubs it's still wet and that makes it fluff up when heated in micro. HTHs:)0
