Well after years of struggling, months of trying to get the fees together a cheque from the RBL made out to the courts landed through my letterbox this morning.

The court offers a walk in service so I am hoping to get Thursday off work so I can go do the deed. My paperwork has been completed since End of January!

Mixed emotions but as I have missed two visits from bailiffs thus last month relief is the stronger emotion at the moment!

• Debtor's Bankruptcy Petition 6.27 Example (Thanks to NE Derbyshire CAB)
• You may find it helpful to look at the Example for completing a bankruptcy petition form 6.27 (DOC, 56 Kb) and the Guidance Notes (DOC, 73 Kb) for completing Form 6.28.

Hi mum2one, I'm not really sure what you mean, if you are from England/Wales, you find out whether your court has a drop in service or appointment only. Then make sure your forms are filled in for then.

ifwishes - Thank you, yep England based - it looks like its a route I need to take, but just getting organised, - try another month of DMP and see where we go.

As said, only the court can tell you how long the wait is.

However, you usually make an appointment and than bring in the completed forms on the day rather than submit them in advance.
