I did stretch and do a 10 min brisk walk as a warm up... not sure if this is good or not.

Glad you are still alive
and not packin it in as so many would after blisters and a severe headache.
It would have been easy for you to say/think "If exercise is that hard I'll not bother again"
Keep it up, vary your exercises, don't push too hard too soon and everything will become easier in a few weeks.0
