    You can buy sets of "cup" measuring cups from Lakeland for less than £8. Also, because it's based on a ratio, it doesn't matter what size cup you use as long as you stick with the same one so an ordinary mug would do!

    krlyr - I`m going to try the Nigella yoghurt pot version but just as a guide - to rediscover my "Idiot Cake".
    Fancy her finding it in a house in Italy though! I found mine in an old Family Circle mag, when DS was little (he`s now 40).
    Our version was fruit yog though, and whichever flavour yog you used you could jazz it up with a bit of fruit or jam of same flavour. My `special Occassion` one was peach yog and decorate the top with whipped cream and some tinned peaches. DS`s favourite was banana yog with a few bits of banana thrown into the cake mix as well. He now says he always did wonder why I called that banana cake `Idiot Cake`!
