Our local Council have issued bins for cans, glass and plastic bottles. household and garden waste .
Bag for newspapers and waste paper although the newspapers go to the local vets for the sick animals for bedding, then perhaps recycled from there.
Old carrier bags go to the charity shops or given to anybody doing a car boot.
Old clothes to charity shops, anything which may not be suitable , ie odd socks , old coats etc go to the homeless hostel. ( bearing in mind nothing has ever been refused from there so it must get used for something)0 -
i can recycle nightly on the way to taking oh to work so just use carrier bags!
one for paper and cardboard, one for glass, one for plastic bottles and tins... anythin else recyclable goes in carrier bags ready for the tip.
may sound silly but i don't like using carriers and would rather have a nice recycling system lol - the fab bags i've seen that link together are 2 expensive. anyone any ideas for a cheap version??Signature removed for peace of mind0
