I set up a pension plan 5 years ago, paying in every month. I then lost my job an subsequently had to stop paying into it. I have a new job now but have ended up in quite a bit of debt an wondered if there is any way I can withdraw th money to help pay my debts and start afresh? I'm only 24 an would rather get a clean slate sooner rather than later. Any help would b appreciated thanks

Basically..........No.
I believe that ' trivial ' pension sums ( under £2000 ) can be taken after the age of 60 ( subject to tax ) .0 -
No. One purpose of a pension is to protect the money from debt collectors. It does that by making it unavailable.0

Go to the Debt free board and learn all the triecks of the trade in getting debt free. Post an SOA there, and they will help you.
No, you cannot cash in your pension. Look at the Sticky of you need further info.0 -
