Keeping the fridge dry

For some reason, our fridge seems to get very damp, which means that the icebox bit frosts over very quickly. It's a fairly new fridge (well, four years old now), so I'm not sure what's going on.
Is there some sort of handy device or bicarb or something I can put in the fridge to soak up the excess liquid?

Check that the door seal is intact and clean as it sounds like air is being pulled in more than it should be.0

Hi
check if the drain is clogged (a small hole, sometimes covered with a stick near the bottom shelf on the back wall of the fridge). You can clean it with an soft stick wrapped in kitchen paper or pump out the water with a pipe taken from a liquid soap dispenser.0 -
Also make sure that you're not putitng stuff in there that's hot as it will cause condensation
HTHI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
My old one did this (indesit 4 year old too) the drain hole at the back was always getting full, puddle almost every day. Try a salt pot or bicarb, helped mine. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Could be partly caused by putting food in that's not properly cooled??
Thanks nikibella for the soap dispenser tip, I always wondered how on earth to get the water out from there without kitchen roll0
