This might sound a bit harsh - but WISE UP!
You might as well write this money off as it doesnt sound like they want to pay you back and doesnt sound like you are really pushing them for it either.
You say your mate thinks he can pay you a payment at Xmas and then 'get away' with not paying anything for 3 months? Well he obviously can!
To lend money to people (and not just onces but 3 times!) without any fixed agreement to pay it back is absolutely crazy.0 -
We lent a friend 6k over 5 years ago. He's never paid a penny back, and has skipped the country now-no forwarding address. Some friend.Debt-free...and staying that way...0

I think the main thing i need to do is just clear the overdraft, even if its with my wages, just get rid of the damn thing!!!
Then there will be no interest, and no debt in my name!
After that I will still push for the repayments, but anything i receive will be a bonus and will no longer be money I have borrowed from a bank!0
