Last Minute Nerves

I have been lucky enough to be invited for an interview as a Library Shelver at a University. It is only part time but I really would love the job. The interview is this week and references have already been obtained. It is a very long time since I attended an interview and I am getting a bit jittery!! I guess what i'm looking for is any advice from anyone who may have experience in interviews for university support posts. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi, unfortunatley I cant offer any specific interview advice for a university post, but just wanted to say do your research, have some good questions to ask, be confident and good luck!!! xx0

As above, if you feel nervous take a few Kalms, ive been on them so my operation wasn't cancelled due to high blood pressure and they worked to ease my mind. Just think positive and do some research, that's your key, even get a family member to interview you, sounds daft but at least you get some practice. Just be positive. But if you research the role, im sure you know the role otherwise you wouldn't be applying, youll be fine good luck sounds a nice little stress free number!!!All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0

Don't forget to breath! Seriously. It's amazing how often people forget to control their breathing when feeling anxious: it can have dramatic effects in keeping you grounded. Slow the breathing, focus the mind, get the job - easy.
Good luck.0
