Homes and Gardens exhibition

Just got back from the Homes and Gardens exhibition at Tatton Park which I won the tickets for from liverpool.com. It was really good and not huge like the flower show we went to last week so we had a good look round at everything. I won a subscription to Pure Cheshire magazine and got a nice freebie umbrella and a few other free mags and tasters etc. Entered every competition I saw and hopefully there'll be other comps in the mags I've picked up, so all in all a good day.

Has anyone else been? I had a quick scan at the list when she ticked my name off and it looked like there was about 10 winners from liverpool.com but only one other name on the list had been ticked  Unless everyone got there after me today.

Hi Strepsy, I was there, I won through local free paper. I was looking out for a woman in a Kaftan waving a wand but I didn't see you, (maybe I was too drunk on all the booze samples). I got a freebie Pure Lancashire mag but no brolly:cry:

Pmsl, a kaftan. I wish I had one!

The brolly was from 'The World's Leading Hotels' (or something) stall, it's actually really nice quality. Did you get a raffle ticket at the Pure Cheshire stall? That's where I won the subscription, well actually it was middle dauther who picked a winning ticket. Only worth £9 I know but chuffed all the same.

Never got a raffle ticket, I entered a few holiday comps. I got a Waitrose bag for life with recipe cards, chocolates and magazines (which have money off coupons in them. Feel I let myself down missing out on the brolly... was too pre-occupied with all the freebies in the food and drink bit. I had a sample of a tooth whitener but don't think it worked. All in all though it was a pleasant day out and then we went to mil's for tea which is always a nice treat. Glad you enjoyed your day.
