I've no suggestions but watching with interest as I'm slowly becoming veggie and looking for nice recipes... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Try this website, it's great fun!0 -
Blimey! That's enough to feed the five thousand!
Tiger - what website are you referring to?0 -
I know - most of those things are multiples as well; I just didn't bother to specify how many, nor the out-of-date really unusable stuff I threw out. We've only got a small kitchen but I seem to have crammed stuff everywhere. At least it all now fits in the cupboards and I have work surfaces again!Nelly's other Mr. Hyde0

quorn curry with the chunks
quorn chilli or bolognese with the mince (leftovers can be served on hamburger buns as "sloppy joes" and serve with the chips
red lentil and tomato bolognese is yummy and bung in any veg you fancy
brocolli and cauliflower cheese
roasted root veg served on rice, maybe use some soy sauce over
Buy some jelly and cream and make a trifle from all that tinned fruit and the custard. That is all I can think of for now but you have heaps you should easily make it to the 25th. I do this kind of challenge occasionally and it is a great money spinner and clears the decks but I alwasy end up stocking up again every time I see a BOGOF

There is a recipe in this month's free ASDA mag to make muffins using a tin of fruit cocktail.
The tinned raspberries could be used in a smoothie.
Use the condensed m/room soup as a sauce for a cottage pie with the quorn mince and mixed veg.
Make up the cheese sauce and use for cauliflower/broccoli cheese and add cut up quorn sausages, my DS loves that!
Use the red lentils and chopped tomatoes and make into a bolognese to have with the spaghetti. I did have a recipe but can't find it at the mo.
Use the pitta breads as bases for pizzas and serve with chips....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Ooh I love the idea of pitta pizzas - thank you
One of the mushroom soups has gone to quorn supreme tonight with onions, leeks, peas and mushrooms (jazzed up with mustard powder but calmed down with some cheese sauce).Nelly's other Mr. Hyde0 -
youve got the makings of a roast dinner there with the q fillets, and snips, roast pots, sweetcorn swede etc - followed by the vienetta YUM:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
