Hi all! Its been a while, and we have been podding on with our DMP, it has become clear that its just not working, our relationship has suffered, and we feel now our only option is to go BR. We have fallen behind with the mortgage payments (2 months, but are in contact with the bank) we have,a charge on the house, which i believe wont be covered in the BR.The mortgage company are pushing for the arrears, and have suggested we stop paying the DMP for a few months,as the mortgage is priority................. my question is,what will happen to our house if we go BR? Its in neg eq,and we owe approx £1800 in arrears, if we dont have the debt, then my reasoning is,we can pay more towards the mortgage,or am I kidding myself? We have lost our way a bit,and just want closure, its just my hubby thats going BR................. sorry about the ramble, but i am all over the place:( and i know i will get honest answers and the kick up the backside i need.:o
