Just had a call from a blocked number from quite a miserable sounding chap, he said I had entered a competition to win a £250 voucher for conservatory blinds via the telegraph. He asked when someone could come round and give me a free quote, I asked him to just send the voucher and then I would decide what I wanted, he said that I had to have a consultation before I got the voucher, I then asked if he was ringing everyone that entered to tell they had won this voucher and his reply was, not everyone. I told him I wasn't interested. Has anyone got any idea which comp this could have been from?

Not sure which comp you entered but I've had something similar from Hillarys blinds. Loads of runners up winning 'so called money off vouchers'!

Yes, I've had this a while ago, not sure what comp it was, but I don't enter any more comps to win blinds now.:cool:

I also had the telephone call, he advised me that to use the £250 voucher I had to spend £1000 - so I declined

I also had this phonecall, and I wan't sure whether I had won or not in the end, I thought it could be a salesperson trying it on because something was very off about the whole thing. Thanks for clearing it up, much appreciated.

Just got the same call and I don't have a conservatory nor do any of my family so I must have entered on autopilot as I normally only enter comps I want to win!
