Mobile phone defaults on credit file

Our mortgage is currently in my name only as my husband has defaults on his credit file which prevented him from being able to apply. These come off in may after being on there for 6 years.

However, he has a default from t mobile too (£160) which won't come off for 3 years. Does this still mean the bank won't even consider him? I heard a little whisper that they tend not to take note of mobile phone defaults as they are very common.

It will depend upon your situation and lender selection.

There are some lenders who disregard telecommunications defaults or those under a specific value.
