How Many emails?

Most of us will have a seperate email address for the wins and spam.....I just looked at how many emails I have sent since July 2012...

Not to be negative but I post/enter loads but the wins are few.

Just see it as game/hobby.

Right so I started comping in January this year.

According to my sent box I have sent exactly 300 since 23rd Jan

I don't do many email comps, I'm not sure why as I've only won one thing so far and that was an email comp!

There will be 20 or so in there which aren't comp entries - replying to winning emails and suchlike. But that's still quite a lot.

Interesting though. Someone was asking me recently how many I enter and I hadn't a clue. That's an average of about 100 per month just by email and that's probably no more than 1 in 10 of my total entries, maybe even less. I don't think I've won any email entry ones either - but I can't complain about my overall wins

That's not very many!
But I usually don't bother with email comps, I'll start making more of an effort I think.

Really? Do most people set up a separate email for comping then? I knew some people did but didn't realise it was that widespread! I have just always used the standard email address I've had since I first got the internet about 10 years ago!!!!

I use three.:D
One very personal which has my name in the address.
Next level is general,which the above forwards to automatically.This has no indication of my name in its address,in fact it is just the name of a nearby road.
Next level is comping via hotmail.The same applies re the naming as level two above.
