WFTC & CSA Payments.

Hello all. I'm aware that the PWC will only receive £10 max per week from CSA payments if on Income Support. However, what does the PWC receive if they're claiming WFTC. Is it the same or do they receive the whole amount that the NRP is paying? I'm currently on the old system (CS1)? if that makes any difference, & if it does what are the differences between the 2 systems?

If the parent with care is working they should get the full amount the nrp is paying.

CS2 cases are were the case has been 'broken' ie an anamoly has happen that the old computer system cannot cope with. On CS2 a lot of previous details are not taken into consideration when calculating the Maintenance.
The PWC only gets £10 if she is on Income Support or JSA(Income based), anyother credits etc she is entitled to the full amount.

If a PWC is on WFTC he/she is treated as a private client and is paid all of the money that the NRP pays.

Both systems use this rule.

? - Its not!

CS1 is the original CSA system, which looks at PWC/NRP and partners income and outgoings.

CS2 is the new more simplified version which only looks at NRP's income.

Clerical - is when the case is broken!

If in receipt of tax credits, all maintenance would be payable to the PWC.
