Great news :T
The hard bit starts now though.....there are lots of horror stories about consolidation loans....not changing old habits and creating more debt on top of the loan!
Make sure you are strict with yourself from now on

well done on the consolidation loan, however do not wrack the other debts up. Close all credit cards and accounts etc.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0

Its a long time but at least I will have the PDL's out of my hair. One loan is easier to deal with than all them little loans so I am happy. I can finally smile and sleep easier!
Fantastic - what interest rate did they offer?0 -

That will not necessarily help as far as the credit report goes. From that point of view it would be better to wait up to 3 years for late payments to drop off and then close accounts. This would mainly apply to credit or store cards.0 -

True but paying the loan in its own right will be good and if you leave avenues of debt open it just provides temptation that could be done withoutDon't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -
