Barclays springboard app - 1late payment

Hi All,

My parents have kindly offered to help out with a mortgage application. They like the idea of the Barclays springboard mortgage as they would be able to get back their 10% after 3 years.

The only issue I have is that in Nov 2011 I have 1 late payment on an otherwise exemplary credit record. My score shows 499 on equifax.

Is it worth me even considering it? Or should I look elsewhere?

I was having a conversation with barclays about this for one of my clients the other day, im sure anything upto a 1 they desregard subject to it passing the credit check.

Before you make an application though, ask them the question about adverse credit what they will and wont accept - alternatively go through a broker and let them do the leg work for you.
