taxi from solid rock to 02 academy

iam going to a gig in glasgow in 3 week time, can anyone tell me how much a taxi would cost from solid rock cafe in hope street (or central station) to 02 academy in eglington road ?? and also if there will be taxis outside 02 academy after the gig or do i have to phone one?? thanks

If I were you, I would cross over the road at solid so you are facing right direction for taxis(argyle st). I would take some taxi numbers with you for coming out. Have found it quite hard to get a taxi before outside 02 but you may be quicker walking back into town

walk it both ways, its pretty much a straight line.

You would be better walking. It's a really short walk BUT avoid the Burrell chippy on the way back, it's horrible!
