  • semi chem do a very cheap version of zovirax and if you ask in the pharmacy for the dispensary pack of aciclovir its much cheaper but haven't seen zovirax brand cheap anywhere.
  • Wilkinsons! 97p for the generic one last time I looked. Failing that, poundland.
Only dead fish go with the flow...
  • In case you haven't already gone for one of the other suggestions....Lloyds Chemist have their own make with identical ingredients to Zovirax at less than half the price.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • I used to get cold sores a couple of times a year. I tried all the treatment using creams but they still appeared year after year. It may be a bit late for you now as the cold sore has started to appear, but for the future, I bought this machine http://www.vcs.eu.com/ a few years ago & have never looked back. I have not had any major flare ups in a few years.

When I feel the tingle coming on I use this machine twice a day for 3 days, cold sore does not come to anything.

It is worth spending your money on this rather than buy creams all the time. Plus this has stopped the cold sores in their tracks.
