Hiya
I'm at the stage where I have given the OR all my facts & figures plus additional info they have requested. I'm waiting to see if I will have to enter into an Income Payments Agreement or Order.
I know I'm running ahead a bit - but very hard not to when anxious! But how much room for negotiation is there regarding all that?
I had not included kids pocket money in my budget figures, so I have asked if I can do that. My advisers pre-filing for BR were great, but said the pocket money was a luxury & I shouldn't include it. Then other sites etc say it's fine. Some even allow a budget for holidays! I haven't included anything like that. And in my SoA there is about £90 left over at the end of each month. Might it be possible for me to point to all the things I didn't include to negotiate? Or is it tough becasue I didn't mention them in my original SoA, so I can't say I need them now?
Also I'm a bit nervous about parts of my budget that I think are too low. Clothing is £50 for myself & 2 children still of growing age. I know I need more than that, but never worried because I dip into that £90 surplus if I need it. But if it's taken off me, I foresee problems. And while cheaper versions of track bottoms for example might well be available, if the school require specific branded school ones that doesn't really help. And when shoes get busted - as they do in our house - they just need replaced. The list goes on!.....
Thoughts welcome.
Thanks a million.

The rules for NI differ quite a bit from the UK and unfortunatly I don't think that there is any one on this board with NI experiance BUT it might be worth going back to the OR and saying that you feel you have ubnder estimated some of your out goings and would like to re-submit your SoA. I know several people who have done thay in England.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

It's good to know its not all completely black + white. I'm just so nervous about getting stuck with a budget I'm struggling with for 3 years. And the more advice or answers I look for the more conflicting it seems to be!0

Yup!
The thing is there isn't any hard and fast rules, there are guidelines and each office will apply those guidelines as they see fit and to each individual case. BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
