Homemade jaffa cakes

In the middle of making the above recipe ............BUT ......... the chocolate wont stick on top of the jelly it just slips off :( .... any ideas really welcome. Thought it would be a novel way to spend the afternoon with the kids!

    try dusting the jelly with a little icing sugar or cornflour, that might help
