I have two names!

I got married nearly 6 yrs ago. At the time we had a joint mortgage and I didn't change my name on this.
I am a Dr so kept my maiden name at work - they continue to pay me into my old bank account also in my maiden name. My passport is still in my maiden name although I will change it when it expires.
We have a joint account with my married name and I have an Amazon credit card (paid off in full each month) under my married name.
We sold our flat 18 months ago and will soon be applying for a new mortgage. Which name should I apply under?? HMRC seem to understand that I have two names but I'm suddenly worrying that the banks will be confused.

I'm no expert, but as your income is in your maiden name, and they use this to calculate the mortgage, it would be best to use that name.0

Speak to the lender beforehand just to check theyre happy and what they would expect you to put.
I wouldnt expect this to cause too many issues though.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
