Locksmiths who used to work on their behalf have now resigned from doing the job of entering the premises.
The banks and landlords turned to the firemen. The firemen, on arriving at a scene where they ad to evict an 85 year old lady from her home joined the crowd in protest instead of undertaking the eviction.
Sometimes it doesn't take much for the human aspect to make such a mockery of the financial system. I find it very humbling.

Precisely. as I keep on saying the eonomy is simply something we made up to make things work better. If it fails to meet people's needs in e.g housing then the economy can expect to be tinkered with and questioned.

If people refuse to do a days work or try to profit from others labour while they remain themselves idle they should not be given a roof at others expense.
This doesnt mean that if they fall victim to a venal ponzi scheme run by parasites to benefit a tiny percentage of the world's population they should be made homeless.
Additionally, anyone who finds that their life choices have led to them landing themselves a "job" that involves evicting other people from their houses needs to take a bloody good look at themselves.0 -

The act to evict in this case a single LL. Let's keep the story in perspective. This wasn't the "banks".0
