Would you be ok just to edit the title for indexing by date/clarity please eg:



E: 30/04 You could win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers * facebook needed

rather than:
E: 30/4 You could win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers * facebook needed
Just click edit & advanced
If left as is it will be indexed wrong so you end up with the issue that can be seen on page 1 of this view of the board.Plus we may lose it to Game Over.

7 How can I amend my thread title if I need to?
To edit the thread title you can click 'Edit' then select 'Go Advanced'.

The next screen will show your post & above it you will see 2 boxes 'Reason for Editing', which you don't have to complete & also 'Title' which has your thread

Hi,I did not doubt your motives as I had no reason to do so.

It was just that the date style would make it harder to search on later & it may have got lost on the board.

Hi,I may be wrong of course & if I thought self promotion was in play I would not hesitate in passing such to MSE admin,as I have done in the past.

I have no proof re links,domain names etc so have made no such report.

I have no idea what communication you may have had with FireFly but if she has "proof" re self promotion I will leave any reporting to her.

No problem.I'd had not seen the post by Fire-Fly.

Please be mindful of this post from MSE admin though.

We have had issues in the past where certain members we "pushed" to post various sites.

ETA: Self promotion is where you post a comp that you are connected to in some way.
Spotting the self promotors is often easy & often hard but if no link can be seen I cannot with all good grace report such.I tend to just report on definite links etc.

thank you for that. i don't think any of these apply to me. i have no agreement with them i simply thought i'd post on here as its on another competition site but not here and i use this one. i don't think thats breaking the rules.
