OMG, after the last few days here's an eye opener, before any nrp's who pay say i'm being awful, i'm not, it's those that dont i cant stand xx
My case is csa 1, 97K of arrears due to his non compliance, has paid about £40 in 13/14 years
Has never complied, new relationship, 2 new kids, apparently no trace via inland revenue, despite being told from day 1 he works cash in hand and the csa have done nowt.
Fast forward to 2013, i'm a bit !!!!ed because his kids are dressed in dior etc and despite trying to force access (yes via court) and the court becoming exasperated with him and eventually removing access due to non conformance, he has signed on the dole and is claiming IS whlst working.
The csa have taken his word that he has been a stay at home parent for 13 years (his current eldest is 6 in the home)
They have produced a nil assessment and despite an LO reduced the debt owed to almost nil even though he is earning close to a grand a week........
The mp is involved and has swallowed this aswell!
Sorry for the rant but for someone who treats this as a hobby (chasing maintenance when i can be arsed) it's a real kick in the teeth especially when it would appear he has no indefinite leave to remain!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ninety Seven Thousand Pounds.
My head just exploded :eek:0 -
Hi,
gosh, if I knew what all the abbreviations meant in the original post, I might've understood it.0 -
sorry to hear you plight with your ex - I had an awful time many years ago with csa and ex and his lies to avoid paying and dispite me supplying them with the information that they failed to check things leaving me bring up our child on next to nothing to the point I nearly had a break down due to stress, choosing between food and power-I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

this forces people on benefits and keeps people poor for all the wrong reasons, this policy stinks,0

If they applied the same level of tests applied to many claimants and insist on the myriad of documents you have to provide for ctb then perhaps the situation would improve - as after all csa is means tested is it not,I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

what does he do cash in hand..??..why don't you find out about private investigators..??..some don't charge too much, but then you cud get photo evidence of him working..??..0

Thanks for the replies and apologies for the rant.
The situation as is now is that my ex has after over 10 years of avoiding payments/contact with CSA he has now signed on. This has gained him a nil assessment. No issue with that IF it were the truth.
The CSA asked him to provide details of what he has been doing for the last 10+ years and he has claimed to be working cash in hand earning £100 per week, this and having 2 new children in his household has meant the last 10+ years have been backdated as nil assessments too.
This has reduced the amount due from £97,000 to £1,600
I never expected to get the £97,000 but hoped the CSA would eventually dig out his lies.
Here's the clever part for him and where the frustration creeps in, he was and probably still is earning significantly more than £100 a week but by declaring the £100 earning i believe he is not liable for either tax avoidance or not paying N.I for the last 10+ years sooo, he has avoided CSA, HMRC etc etc with utter lies and there is nothing the CSA etc or i can do to prove otherwise.
A private detective would probably be the only option but i really cant be bothered with spending any more money on the weasel.
I suppose i should listen to my sons words "mum, my biological dad has taught me everything i dont want to be as a man or father"0 -
If more people put in complaints to the CSA and were prepared to go further as I am with my case instead of giving up then the CSA may not still exist and all these people that shrug their responsibilities may not be allowed to do it.
Have you raised a complaint with the CSA, it is a lengthy process I know but I just keep on at them.
Has anyone raised a complaint with the Independent Case Examiner (ICE) as a result of their dissatisfaction with the CSA's resolve of your complaint to them? :cool:0
