Having nightmare opening cashminder account, id, proof of address, etc I just moved. Was wondering are there any accounts that you can pay for which won't be shut down once you become bankrupt? Any ideas thanks in advance.

No not that I can think of, the paid for accounts are normally higher than a basic so a credit check would be run.
There are pre/paid card you might find useful until you get your account sorted, they act the same way as a credit card but you pre/load the card with money, the can spend the money as your would a debit or credit card, you can also get wages paid onto them etc but some can be on the expensive side, as they can charge for each use and a monthly fee too, If you do a search I think there is one or two that are quite reasonable if not near enough free to use.0 -
Is there any reason you can't open a basic Barclays account?
