Afternoon, all, and thanks for the birthday wishes. Fabulous cake, Growurown, hope everybody got some?
Birthday was ok, received some cash gifts so managed to get a few items of clothing to update the wardrobe ready for this warmer weather -when it eventually shows its face.
Spoon - Dad doing great. Had urine infection the other week but shedloads of antibiotics sorted that. Stepbrother now gone home so Dad and Stepmum on their own again, but stepsister calls in most days to do things like vacuum around and change bedlinen. Dad and stepmum able to generally tidy up and cook for themselves ok. I think it shocked Dad to hear how bad his heart must have been, especially when he has been fit as a butcher's dog all his life. He has now slowed down a bit, not so much blue-tail fly syndrome as before, and looks a lot less tired than he used to. To think he'll be 80 in October (shares his birthday with a certain person who died on Monday and has been in the news ever since!)

Anyway, I digress... bump to the top!

Good news about your Dad, Nargle, I'm pleased to hear that. Hopefully, once he's recuperated properly, he'll be up and running again properly (well, not actually "running", but you know what I mean:D).

there seem to some trolls about recently, and its the school holidays (easter)

Are you suggesting recent trolls are bored teachers with nothing better to do? :rotfl: I jest of course though there were a few teachers back in my day who were quite troll-like....;)
