Evening all, still wintry here.
Got back from Dad's on Sunday. Op went well, but due to a couple of minor problems he stayed in hospital a few days longer than planned. At one point he was really low in mood so I ended up doing the 80 mile round trip with bags of goodies to cheer him up twice! Then back a third time on Saturday when they finally let him out. The physio had done a stair assessment on him that morning, and, knowing he needed to be safe on stairs before being discharged he was up and down those stairs like a ruddy whippet!
He is now at home with my stepmum being looked after by my stepbrother who is staying for the next 3 weeks or so, and is very happy and relieved it's all over. As are we all!
Any hot chocolate going will be gratefully received.....even though I am currently full of pizza and ice cream.....One life - your life - live it!0 -
