And a happy good evening from me. Still a few days left of my holiday, and have been productive. Chickens cleaned out, cat litter tray cleaned out, fruit and veg topped up at the village shop. Meals planned until payday, batch of walnut biscuits and lavender shortbread made, some of which we enjoyed with fruit smoothies this afternoon. (Still plenty of home made biccies left for another day). Home made battered cod and chips for dinner, followed by a lemon and ginger herbal tea and a bit of net surfing. Then self-indulgent shower and hair wash (using expensive shampoo bought for OH) and an evening in PJs in front of TV with the Kindle in case I get bored. Might not sound a very exciting existence but when you have a busy job with loads going on all the time it is nice to slow down and move to a different rhythm. Tomorrow's agenda includes a stroll to the local library to change books, and chilli and nachos for dinner. Hope it will be warm and sunny enough to spend time lazing in the garden.
