Cronut - Crow nut - ahh, I see, a joke from the Cringeworthy School of Comedy......how's about this little ditty from Ogden Nash?
A wonderful bird is the pelican
His bill can hold more than his belly can,
He can keep in his beak
Food enough for a week,
But I'm damned if I see how the helican....

Cronut anyone?
Apparently all the rage in New York, a cross between a croissant and a doughnut!

Ahh... the old ones are definitely the best, Nargle, I haven't heard that one for years :rotfl::rotfl:My father used to take great pleasure in reciting that one:)
Talking about dads, how is your dad getting on, I've been meaning to ask you. Hope he's continuing to make good progress? The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Dad's doing fine, spoon - Had his outpatient review at Papworth in May and they have referred him back to the local hospital for any future checkups as they no longer need to see him. When he came out of hospital (early March) he had a catheter in as he could not pass urine. After being seen by a urologist who confirmed an enlarged prostate and started him on tablets to shrink the beast, he finally went to hospital earlier this week and had the catheter removed with success - back to normal! He's even back to painting the back door (though he won't do shinning up ladders or stuff like that) and changing bedlinen and cooking meals - one happy chappy feeling loads better! Gawd bless the NHS!One life - your life - live it!0

This was our favourite ditty 'The greenest thing you'll ever see is easily the processed pea' or ' Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair so Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't Fuzzy Wuzzy?'DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Hope you've all had a good, or reasonable, day. Mine's been fairly carp tbh so I'm a bit of a fed up spoony at the moment:( Still it's Friday tomorrow so a wiggle will be in order, that always cheers me up
Off to do a token update on the NSD thread now and then I may watch some trash TV on the iplayer for an hour or so, though I have a seriously early start tomorrow:eek::eek: so maybe not;)
