Good evening all, Have just logged onto the Farepak Hampers website to see if there any update on the money I've lost and it says the following:
The Joint Administrators of Farepak have been in discussion with the Administrators of Choice Gift Vouchers Limited (“Choice”). The Administrator of Choice has agreed that all customers of Farepak who had bought Choice Gift Vouchers will receive the same 80p dividend that customers of Choice will receive. The payment will be in the form of Say Shopping Gift Vouchers. Letters are being sent to all customers who have submitted a claim in respect of Choice Gift Vouchers, asking if they would like to receive these vouchers by completing a form and using the enclosed pre paid envelope to return it to the Administrators of Choice. If you have any questions about this, please contact the Administrator of Choice at:
Mr I. Stokoe
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
Benson House
33 Wellington Street
Leeds
LS1 4JP
What does this mean in laymans terms

Yes I've made a claim and was expecting to get about 4-5p for every £. I don't really understand what the update means with regards to vouchers. I originally ordered £400 worth of vouchers, from what I remeber it was £100 M&S, £100 Next and £200 High Street Vouchers.0

Hmmm.. not sure as from that it only seems to be saying about the choice vouchers?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I'm really confused, when I googled Choice it said that they were also in administration......0

Our political leaders really are a beautiful collection of people.
Our revered P.M when he resigns will be offered up front book deals that would re-imburse Farepack customers ten times over; it's such a shame he's not a socialist.
Why are investors with a £100k to invest protected by the FSA regulations but Farepack customers are not?
Why will nobody be prosecuted for the Honours for Loans scandal, while Farepack customers struggle to make good their loss?
I thank the Lord I'm just an ignorant peasant that accepts the wisdom of my masters.0 -
In plain terms: If you purchased Choice vouchers you will be receiving a letter in a few days. If you accept the offer in the letter you will receive Say Shopping brand vouchers worth 80p for every Pound of Choice vouchers you purchased. Woolworths, Comet and a range of other retailers accept the vouchers so it appears to be practical to get the money.
If you do not accept, your claim will presumably join the rest and you may receive 5p for each Pound of Choice vouchers you purchased.
It appears to be a good idea to accept the offer, since it is worth sixteen times as much as you're likely to receive otherwise.0 -
Thank you very much for explaining that. Unfortunately I purchased M&S, Next and High Street Vouchers - trust me to lose out again.....0
