Alternative to Crocs Shoes Butter

I love my Crocs shoes, but they are losing their "glow" - anyone got any cheaper, just as good alternatives to the Crocs butter which costs about a fiver.
Thanks

i am off to buy some crocs tomorrow.
    what is the butter?
also i have heard that they shouldnt fit like ordinary shoes but should be loose?
    any tips on buying some?
  • There are a couple of reviews of Crocs Butter on Amazon.com - neither of them reckon it's worth it. One says it's just like any shoe cream with a built in sponge. I suppose if you've got some plain shoe cream you could try it out on the Crocs somewhere it wouldn't show (like the soles?) in case it all went horribly wrong.

Re: the sizing - I bought my Caymans in my normal size and they're fine. The Prima style (ballet-type shoes) are supposed to be a bit narrow so you may need the next size up if you're buying those. I got some Cleos on ebay (from Singapore) and my normal size was OK for them (you can't have too many shoes!)

Not sure about the butter but they are supposed to be a loose fit. Lot's of Crocs info on this thread which should help you a bit. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=370837

  • Hi if you google croc shoe butter there are a few sites that sell it for £3.50 but some you have to add postage.

I know i am late into this discussion! but .... with the sizing ... my friend who is croc mad recogns that it also depens where they are made not only what style they are. She has several the same style made in different factories that fit differently. She has about 10 pairs

I have three different styles from 3 factories!! my 'romanian' ones fit perfectly - loose ish without being too big. My proffessionals that were made in colorado are HUGE too big really i still wore them till there had a hole in them though!!. My mary janes are much snugger - in fact a bit small (cant remember where they were made!).

But hey these are the first shoes that i have owned that fit my feet and are trendy!
