BR is public record info, so the CRAs should have record of it. (Short of a monumental fook up).

That usually means that there is something stopping the CRAs linking the BR to your report. May be you have not given all past addresses? May be that there are some differences/errors between your name/address as on your BR order and that given to the CRAs?

  • I cant think that there would any other variations of my name etc and im 100% sure i have recorded everything exactly as it should of been.
Should i chase this and investigate further or not tempt fate and leave it?

Difficult, as it sounds like there may be a more fundamental problem making it not show then?

If you do nothing will it never show?

Problem with that is what appears on the report to you, may not be what a creditor checking your report sees. Reason being a report is not a fixed doecument, but each time is generated on the fly given the input data. Which is why you get people with say a CCJ they didn't know about getting refused by a creditor for credit, but it only shows on the report given to the creditor. Until whatever mismatch is corrected, and it then does show.

If it was me then I would rather it showed, and then you can make sure everything is correct and will fall off after 6 years. Leave it as an unknown, and it could come back to bite you at any point.

    Just my opinion though.....

  • I totally agree with you, id rather it be shown, ive really turned things around financially and just want to be honest.

It shows no bankruptcy, court orders or anything! Who can i speak to? The OR that dealt with my case? I dont know if i have the number even?

    Confused immensely......
