Cheap Turkeys?

in Gone off!
Has anybody seen any Turkeys for sale anywhere? I bought a couple from Lidl at Christmas, but have eaten them now!

At just £9.99 it was far cheaper to cook this than a chicken when having friends over for sunday lunch.

    ASDA ? You can usually find fresh ASDA Smartprice turkey drumsticks in my local store cheap.

    Ah, thanks but I meant a whole Turkey. Doing a roast for 7 people on Sunday and Turkey is the cheapest way of feeding everybody.

    Hi all, Asda had frozen ones for £12.99 which wasn't too bad, but settled on pork shoulder instead in the end!

    Aldi still do the same big xmas Turkey crown (which is enough for sixish-seven pips) for a tenner or so.

    Waitrose had a couple in their freezer section, MORRISONS had a few fresh legs and diced.

    Try a local butcher / farmers market or farm shop if you have any near you - they may be able to point you in the right direction.
