Hi all,
Sorry if this has been posted before, I am about to apply for my first mortgage and wanted to ask some advice on Credit Scores.
My credit rating is in the high end of 'Poor' almost in 'Fair' (Experian Credit Rating Scores).
Will this be an issue when applying for a mortgage? What is my best options at this point?
Thanks.

The rating itself is irrelevant, although the content of the credit file is crucial.
There must be a reason, so things you are looking at in significance order are missed payments, AP markers, defaults, CCJ's
If you list what of these are on the report, what sort of credit facilities you currently have and what you deposit and purchase price is; we will be in a better position to speculate...I am a Mortgage Broker
