I have always wondered if you can use caulie leaves and now am delighted to find that I can.
I also love use cut off the stalk of a head of broccoli, chop it up and include in a pasta and veg mix up.

They are the only part I like.. I eat them raw.. after a fight with the rabbit.. Don't waste anything - just wash thoroughly and bung it it
I've even got the kids eating the stalks of raw broccoli and cauliflower (with the knobbly bits removed) as an after-school snack whilst I'm cooking dinner for the evening. It's lovely and crunchy.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016

As a bit of an experiment, I've chopped and boiled them and then used them in "Bubble & Squeak". Even though I knew that they weren't the usual cabbage, I couldn't tell the difference.
And, at £2 per kilo, you don't want to waste anything.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
