Hi all
We have quite a few kids coming to our wedding, so I want there to be a gift bag in each one's place when they get to the wedding breakfast. I am going to personalise each one so they are relevant for that person.
We have:
Girls
1x one yr old
2x two year old
1x three year old
1x11 year old
1x 12 year old
Boys
1x 5 year old
1x 8 year old
1x 10 year old
1 x 14 year old (not sure about him but don't want him to feel left our)
Any suggestions?

We're doing gift bags for the kids between 3 and 8 years old, so smaller range than yours. Less personalised but wanted them to have something to play with while speeches etc. are going on. I went a bit mad on ebay one day! Have ended up with miniature colouring/sticker/water painting books, temporary tattoos, crayons, sweety bracelets, bubble bottles and jumping monkeys. I'm sure there's more but I can't remember now! Once I'd thought of something I'd search for that and then would browse the sellers other goods for inspiration.
You could do some general things, then perhaps one or two little things to make each one personal. All the kids I know seem to love Spongebob Squarepants at some stage!0 -
We will have quite a few kids coming ranging from 3 to 15. For little ones I am going to get colouring books, puzzles, bubbles and for the older ones puzzle books and I saw a really good idea online of giving them each a disposable camera and an I spy with my little camera checklist of things for them to find and take photos of. Will then ask for the cameras back and thought my sons can then make a photo album of all the pics there little friends have taken x0

Ohh like a sort of camera scavenger hunt?
Make them a bit ambiguous, like "something you could use to ensnare" - that could get you photos of a net or a curtain or a spider's web!

we had gift bags with most of the above ideas in, also made a little treasure hung/quiz for them - 8 questions, with things like 'what is the grooms favorate colour?, what does the brides sister like to have on her toast?' so they had to go and find out the answers, then got a little sweet as a prize for doing it, went donw quite well xx0

We did the camera game, we had children ranging from 4 to 12, (7 girls, one boy who was 12). It went down really well and the kids really enjoyed it. We got them to do in the time between getting to the reception venue to us all sitting down for our food and it definately stopped them getting bored!
I gave each child a camera and a list of pictures (the older children had a slightly harder list) and it was things like a picture of everyone on your table, a picture of your Mum and Dad, a picture of the groom/ best man/ father of the brides socks (depending who they knew), a picture of the bride and her sisters, that knid of thing, I tried to include pictures of things that I knew no one else would think to get a picture of.
I then shopped around to work out where was cheapest to get them developed and most places (Boots, jessops and the independent camera shop) worked out very expensive, so in the end I took them to Asda and they put them on a disk for me (which they do based on number of pictures and not number of cameras so they can put about 3 cameras on one disk), and eventually I plan on getting any decent ones printed.0 -
We're doing this too. Have bought some bubble wand things and some foam masks, also going to get some puzzle books with packs of mini pencils and a disposable camera each with a list of photos to take. Need to think up a couple more items, maybe a magic trick set or a mini game of some sort.
How much did Asda charge for developing the disposable cameras onto CD, PinkPrincess83?
What are you all putting your kids items in? I wanted to do a box with their names painted on to the top but I can't find any decent shoe box type things that don't cost a small fortune!Mother, wife, scientist, analyst.
