Boots No7 lift & luminate collection

I have just got back from my local boots and they had the above on offer at 1/2 price (£43.00). As I am running a bit low I thought I would buy a pack, I then noticed that there was a buy2 get 1 free on No7, so picked up another 2 packs and they all went through for £86.00. Contents are:

Lift and luminate day cream 50ml
Lift and luminate day serum 15ml
Lift and luminate night cream 50ml
Lift and luminate night serum 15ml
Youthful eye serum 15ml

I also noticed that there was a gift with purchase on No7 so picked up three to go with the 3 packs, however it appears that the gift is free when you buy 2 make up items so it didn't go through, however the manageress said that because I had spent so much she would manually override them for me. I also got 2200 points, so all in all a bargain. :j

So from an original selling price of £86 per unit you paid £21.33 (including the value of the points)?

The £5 off skincare voucher is also working against this. Saw the sales assistant checking it for someone yesterday.

    I don't like to take the value of the points off the current purchase as I will use them later, I got 3 set x £43 = £129.00 - £43 (buy 2 get one free) = £86.00 /3 = £28.666666666 recurring.

I earnt 2244 point which I will use to purchase something for free at a later date, plus I also got 3 of the gifts with purchase.

If I did take the point into account then the price works out at £21.11 per set............and I forgot I had a double points voucher until I paid and looked at the receipt.

I didn't have. £5.00 voucher or I would have used that too!

Wow great deal - did you use any extra points from pink machine for spend in a single transaction or is that the number of points just from 3 for 2? On line it says this pack orginally £91 something - :T

I had extra points from the machine and some pink coupons that were sent to me through the post. I think just getting the 3 4 2 was a great deal but then the 3 GWP and points was an added bonus.

I'm not sure either, I had 244 for the purchase, 250 (received in post) for spending over £25.00 (I think there is an extra 300 for spending over £30.00 from the Machine). 500 extra points for buying No7 Product (received in post) 2 x 500 extra points for buying the Product (from the machine) and I'm not sure where the extra 250 points came from! But I'm not going to complain.
  • Reading this thread takes me back to my bootsing days. I have fortunately weaned myself off the habit but my bathroom cupboards still groan under the amount of "bargains" I just had to buy at boots. I still have about 6 of those summer hair spritzers -used to get 6 for a £1 and a £5 voucher. A few years ago there were loads of points glitches and I couldn't pass a boots store without buying something. Now I go in and just marvel at how expensive most of their stuff is. Good days though.
