But it can work out very well. One of my uncles lived with my grandmother until her death and it was good for both of them.
In their case, grandmother left the house to my uncle in recognition of the years he had spent helping her. He left the house to his siblings when he died.0 -
Thanks for that Mojisola. I think in these difficult times we need to be flexible and think more laterally about living arrangements. You are right, it can work but needs to be properly planned which is what we are doing, and not rushing into it. Incidentally a younger friend of mine who is the bread-winner and has just been made redundant is in the process of moving (with her husband and young son) to live with her father-in-law. Cheers.0
