Hi there I'm brand new to this forum but "Westin Gourmet" is a good quality site for ordering meat online & they package your products well.
Or if you want it "Sara's Halal meats" has many bargains also, and not just steaks other food items.
I hope iv helped you out a bit :-)0 -
There has recently been a thread discussing the merits of various online butchers and Clare Barry (https://www.clarebarry.co.uk) was mentioned favourably a few times. If you do a search of the name on this forum it should bring it up. And give you a few more sites to check out too, including Westin Gourmet."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

I discovered Stilton Butchers last month, and made a small order to test the quality. Everything we've had so far has been delicious, great quality and more importantly, doesnt shrink when cooked! Decent prices too, no more than you would expect to pay in a normal butchers, and I think they are still doing an offer on chicken breasts where you get 22 for £20?
Sorry, just realised that post sounds like I'm on the pay roll, doh!!0 -

Why online? Just so it can be posted?
Just asking, as i order online from my local butcher and then they deliver for free. Ok that means they only operate locally, but maybe you have a butchers local to you, doing the same thing0 -
So I recently ordered meat from an online butcher for the first time. I had started looking for one at the end of November because I was making Beef Bourguignon and wanted to source the Charolais cattle beef which is traditionally used. Then the horse meat story broke and I decided I really should try an online butcher if I want to be sure about the origin of my meat). I visited a few MSE threads and several butchers were mentioned including Douglas Willis which was the only butcher I researched who mentioned Charolais beef on their website so I went with them, ordering eight packets of meat. Unfortunately, only seven packets were delivered (and I needed the missing packet for a dinner party!) and only six of those seven were labelled. Knowing mistakes happen, I contacted Douglas Willis by email. The reply I got back offered no apology - just asked me if I was sure the missing packet was really missing which I found a bit insulting (I can count to eight!). I then sent a photo showing exactly what I had received and asking for clarification that the unlabelled meat was beef braising steak. Didn't receive an answer so I sent a follow-up. Still no answer by the following day so I sent another (by this stage very irate and stressed!) email. Finally, the following day I got back a mail from the sales person saying they had been on leave (surely someone else checks the emails when a staff member is on leave?). They also said that they had personally packed the bag and was sure they had put in two packets (I didn't like that inference much!) but they would refund me for the missing packet. So - although their meat did taste fantastic and so much better than any supermarket meat I have tried (and I did a blind taste comparison test with friends who agreed) - I sadly do not feel confident about ordering from Douglas Willis again. On the positive side, I won't go back to supermarket meat - I am going to try one of the other MSE recommendations instead and hope that next time, the customer service matches the quality of the meat.0

Westin Gourmet quality is always good and their customer service is great.
Allens of Mayfair is really good too.
I recieved an order from stiltons this morning, the quality seems good but their customer service wasn't great so probably wouldn't use again.0 -
