Hey,
Feeling your pain and panic, I too have been suspended, got all the documentation through today for the hearing next Thursday, I doubt i'll have a job after that, first time I've been unemployed all my working life
I would keep pestering your union, after all you've paid them to HELP you and YOU need the help now. But it won't hurt contacting CAB and ACAS.
Good luck0 -
By contacting CAB or anyone else, you risk the union withdrawing advice/ representation. This will be covered in your membership rulebook.
Contact your branch office, phone or e-mail and explain the situation. Re contacting anyone from work, this should not extend to contacting local stewards.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
As ohreally says, you have a right to contact your own union reps from your workplace. Probably best to arrange this through the branch office. You cannot trust your employer to make this contact for you. If you make contact through the branch office, this will make it more dfficult for the employer to turn this into trouble for you.You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0
