mortgage query - keep or not

so our mortgage is due to be paid off soon.
we do however want to move again in the next few years and will need a much bigger mortgage than the one we had.
so my question is - are we better keeping a mortgage (its an off set - we can take some money out and keep it going) or getting rid and starting again.
or does it not make any difference either way?
thanks

You'll need to settle the balance when you move. So unless your on a low rate of interest. Pay it off.0

What is the rate? Is it portable? Other terms that may be applicable.0
